Sunil Wadhwa, VP of Training
Born on the Island of Mauritius, a son of a Diplomat representing India, his father was posted to San Francisco in 1970. The family remained in the San Francisco Bay Area, where Sunil studied Aeronautical Engineering and achieved his Commercial Pilots License with a goal to be a commercial pilot. Currently, he resides in EL Dorado Hills with his wife and two daughters.
Having an entrepreneurial spirit, life led him down the business path and for the past 25 years he has immersed himself in numerous successful ventures. Mr. Wadhwa was the founder of several companies; he has also held positions with various companies as CEO, President, Sr. Vice President, consultant and a Member of several Marketing Advisory Boards. For the past 23 years, he's focused his career in the world of Multi-Level Marketing or Network Marketing and achieved nationwide recognition, and awards. He's achieved seven figure income levels, and has developed several large sales organizations to his credit. He is also a highly regarded National Sales Trainer as well as a National Speaker.
In addition, Sunil has extensive experience in business ownership, management, sales, and marketing. Strengths include analysis, design and implementation of systems and processes to improve business operations and growth. He prides himself of never letting "grass grow under his feet". He accredits his growth to "building the business like a business" and to his "exceptional team leaders". His two favorite quotes in business are, "Thinking Outside the Box" & "Successful people do what unsuccessful people are unwilling to do".
Sunil is extremely excited and honored to join Amega Global. The Founders, Directors, the staff and the Amega culture resonates deeply with Sunil's core values. As one of the team members, he is looking forward in helping achieve Group CEO Arun Kemer's goal of becoming a billion dollar company by 2012.
Rick Walsh, Assistant VP of Training
Born and raised on the east coast, Rick's education was in the traditional business field, earning both an undergraduate and Master's Degree in Business. Following an eight year commitment in the US Air Force as a pilot and intelligence officer, he decided it was time to get back in the business world. At the age of 29 he was introduced to the concept of Network Marketing. Rick is quoted many times as saying that "Network Marketing is the common man's franchise opportunity" and this is where Rick has spent the last thirty years, building, teaching and training. Rick has seen the industry from many different angles. Besides building sales organizations into the tens of thousands of distributors, he spent over a decade publishing the industry's first trade publication. Multi-Level Marketing News was a full color, 64 page monthly magazine published in all fifty states and thirteen foreign countries. In the capacity as the publisher of this journal he also published two books on Network Marketing and appeared on numerous radio and television talk shows as an advocate for the entire industry. He has also been a consultant and trainer for some of the largest companies in the industry. Rick was also the Vice President of Sales for Ameriplus, a network marketing company in the nineties and served as the first Executive Vice President for the International Association for Multi-Level Marketing, the only nonprofit lobbying group for this industry specifically. Being a student of the industry Rick realizes the significance of the unparalleled success of Amega in such a short period of time. Very few companies have been able to achieve this level of success and none in just a four year time frame, and none without a significant presence in the US. This is attributable to top visionary leadership, a paradigm shift to the self-care evolution which fits perfectly with the Amega cutting edge technology of AFT™, and perfect international execution into over 100 countries. Genealogy Correction and Adjustments We reported in a recent AMFlash that a few genealogy placement issues had occurred with existing Business Associates, and during placement of newly enrolling Business Associates. These issues included some newly enrolling Business Associates being placed on the wrong side of the binary, even though the Sponsor had the other side chosen as the default. In some instances, when this occurred and our IT Department attempted to correct the placement, other Business Associates' placement were then affected. Fortunately, this has only affected just under 250 Business Associates and is no longer an issue. Our IT Department has worked diligently to correct each issue. The good news is that we have resolved the cause of this issue and are in the process of returning the placements that were moved in error back to the original placements, as well as correcting the BV errors that it may have caused. During the process of correcting the genealogy placement errors, you may have noticed that the BA count, left and right in your genealogy tree view was not correct. As each issue is resolved this will automatically adjust. Virtually all of these issues are completely fixed so you can continue to enroll new Business Associates and be confident that they are being placed properly. New Commission Payment System It's time for the Amega Global Weekly Webinar! The topic for this week, Thursday August 5th, will be on the New Commission Payment System, with Ciaran Lambe from CommissionsPlus HyperWallet. As you may have seen in the AMFlash yesterday evening, Amega Global is setting up a new type of commission payment system which will offer you a simpler, more efficient and faster payment solution. Retail Tax and Shipping Update Retail Tax: Amega must begin adding appropriate sales tax to all orders in North America beginning August 1st, 2010. As is standard in the network marketing industry, when a Business Associate places a wholesale order, Amega will charge sales tax on the retail amount of the purchase. Business Associates will charge their customers retail sales tax, but they do not have to submit that tax to the government, as Amega will pay the tax for them. When Retail Customers place orders on BA Replicated sites, the appropriate sales tax is collected by Amega and paid to the government. This is a convenient and accurate method of collecting tax that allows you to avoid the hassle of paperwork and submission of the taxes yourself. Shipping: We must also begin charging accurate shipping for all orders as of August 1st. As you may know, we've been charging a flat rate during this portion of our Pre-Launch both to assist Business Associates but also because we didn't have the shipping charges in place in the CyberOffice. New Enrollment Site / Shipping / Sales Tax Amega Global has deployed our new enrollment process. You will notice the improved functionality when you enroll new Business Associates and place an order during the enrollment process. We have tested the new system with Blue Diamonds and above to ensure the software is successfully processing all new enrollments. As you know, during our US startup, we were charging a reduced shipping rate for all orders, until our shipping software integration was complete. This integration has now been completed but we will continue subsidizing shipping charges for all Business Associates until August 1st, 2010. Please note, in some cases, shipping charges will be less than under our old system and in others, such as when a large order or when a Bundled Package is ordered, the shipping cost will be more. On August 1st, 2010, you will also be able to select different carriers for your shipping and in the near future you will be able to request expedited shipping through our system. Additionally, due to merchant account regulations, we are required to request a signature confirmation on all orders over $200. This will ensure that your Amega products are received by you and do not fall into the wrong hands. The shipping companies will make 3 attempts to collect a signature before returning the shipment back to the Amega Warehouse. We will begin charging accurate shipping costs and sales tax on August 1st, 2010 for all of North America. Order Now and Save! Now is the perfect time to place any larger orders that you have been considering as the shipping and tax will not be currently charged. Place your order before August 1st and avoid the additional shipping and taxes that will be charged after that date. Auto-ship Update As you may know, Auto-ship was on hold for a few weeks and, as the end of June drew near, many Business Associates placed Personal Purchases so as to ensure they were Active for this month. When we were able to run the Auto-ship, it became clear that some may not want this but others would. For that reason we have run the Auto-ship for all Business Associates except those that had a Personal Purchase in June. If you placed a Personal Purchase in June and you are enrolled in Auto-ship, then your Auto-ship has been skipped and will resume next month. We are sending a separate Amega Exclusive to all affected Business Associates. What if you need more BV? In some cases, such as the Mega Matching Bonus, you may need more BV to Qualify. You may choose to place an additional Personal Purchase in this case so that you Qualify for the Mega Match. Please remember that we are calculating commissions based on Singapore time and so you must place June orders before 9 AM Pacific Time on Wednesday, June 30th.
